Calori & Vanden-Eynden / Design Consultants (New York) is celebrating the 30th anniversary of the studio. Chris Calori and David Vanden-Eynden established C&VE in 1983, kick-starting a legacy of innovation and design excellence.

The firm has been retained by the Upper Perkiomen Valley Chamber of Commerce to design a signage and wayfinding system for the entire UPV region, which covers portions of three counties and five townships, and includes numerous towns and villages. The sign program scope includes regional and local gateway signs, town identity signs, and various vehicular directional signs, among others. Unique to the program is the incorporation of an educational aspect wherein students from the local vocational and technical high school will produce components of the sign hardware and graphic systems. The program is expected to enter the prototype stage in the fourth quarter of 2013.

The new Life Sciences building at Nassau Community College made its debut with the start of the 2012 academic year. The copper-clad building is the work of Cannon Design with signage and graphics designed by C&VE. The sign program is a spirited extension of the college's graphic standards featuring an integration of letterforms with architecture and a quietly bold interjection of decorative images into hallways and lobbies.
