Bunting Graphics is an architectural grade fabricator and possesses the experience and technical capability demanded by designers of leading edge signage and displays. Founded in 1980 by Jody Bunting, the company quickly flourished and developed into a progressive organization proficient in specialized fabricating techniques. Sculptural elements, theming packages, decorative facades and dynamic displays are only a few of the areas in which Bunting Graphics has excelled, in addition to signage.
Working with stainless steel is a particular strength of the company. Standout projects using stainless include the moguls simulating ski slopes installed on the roof of the U.S. Courthouse in Buffalo, the genome of a mouse rendered in bright LED lighting, stainless steel, acrylic and flowing water at the University of Pittsburgh Biomedical Science Tower, the Donor Display at the National Air and Space Museum featuring aerodynamic name panels, and the polished stainless steel digital displays prominently installed at the exterior of the Lincoln Center in New York City.
The high level of design complexity routinely undertaken by the Bunting project teams consistently yield remarkably original products. For the 2014 Super Bowl, Bunting’s team worked in tandem with Pentagram and Pepsi designers to create enormous Pepsi bottles that were suspended over the Pepsi gate at MetLife Stadium. The installations, nearly the size of a bus, were fashioned to emulate the shape of the new Pepsi bottles from individual disks each bearing the classic Pepsi “wave” logo. The project was completed within a 3 month deadline.
