As SEGD experiences growth in membership (a record high of 1830 members at the end of 2016!) on a global level, SEGD’s reach on a local level is also expanding. We’ve grown to a new record of 28 SEGD Chapters around the world, and we’re proud to welcome our newest chapters to the SEGD community.
Britney Butler is co-chair of the Richmond Chapter.
As Co-Founder and Creative Director of Iconograph, Brittney Butler brings with her almost a decade of experience in the Experiential Graphic Design industry. She works interactively with clients to develop and implement concepts for signage packages, wayfinding theming, and exhibits of various sizes, scales, and purposes.
Brittney’s creative design expertise is readily apparent in her inventive, intelligent theming and signage concepts which celebrate learning while communicating a space’s layout and organization to users. She has a particular talent for striking the difficult balance of both informing and educating through her beautiful yet pragmatic designs and graphic standards.
Through Brittney’s help, buildings can become teaching tools – where every space and surface supports interactivity and engagement, encourages place-based learning, and piques the curiosity of users. Brittney’s designs help create nurturing, navigable places where community members alike feel welcome and inspired.
Brittney specializes in projects for educational clients – which include public and independent schools throughout the Mid-Atlantic as well as a broad range of higher education clients such as Clemson University, the University of Virginia, and Virginia Commonwealth University.
