Brett Traylor is a Senior Partner and Creative Director at Thinkso in New York.
Brett Traylor brings 20 years of design experience to Thinkso and provides creative leadership on every project. He has attracted a diverse clientele of corporate, cultural, and nonprofit organizations with his conceptual strength and bold execution.
Throughout his career, Brett Traylor has worked on high-profile projects for a variety of clients. For the New York Jets football club, Brett executed a sweeping redesign of the team’s brand identity program. As a design consultant to United Airlines for ten years, he designed everything from corporate identity and the aircraft paint scheme to the plastic cup and air sickness bag. He has led branding and web design projects for Stanford University, created national advertising and marketing campaigns for Travelzoo, and developed institutional communications for Baylor College of Medicine, Memorial Sloan Kettering, and Duke University Department of Medicine.
Brett’s work has been widely acclaimed in Communication Arts, Print, ID, Wired, Metropolis, and The New York Times. His work is included in the permanent collection of SF MoMA and has garnered an array of awards. He has been recognized by the American Institute of Graphic Arts, the Society for Environmental Graphic Design, the New York Art Directors Club, Black Book AR100, REBRAND 100, and has twice been nominated for a British Design and Art Direction Award.
Brett Traylor earned a BFA in graphic design from Brigham Young University. Prior to founding Thinkso, he spent eight years at the international design consultancy, Pentagram, where, among other honors, he was elected associate partner in 2003.
