Two Twelve Donor Signage Goes Viral

It’s not every day that signage goes viral. But thanks to an Instameet, organized by Simply Social Media New Mexico and the Santa Fe Opera, Two Twelve recently found its signage at the center of a hashtag hurricane.

Shortly after Two Twelve’s new donor recognition signage system was installed at the Santa Fe Opera, the breathtaking arts facility was the site of an Instameet – a gathering of Instagram photographers to socialize and take pictures of their surroundings. In addition to capturing the gorgeous natural setting and beautiful architecture of the opera house, Instameet attendees also snapped pic after pic of the donor signage.

Over the course of several years, Santa Fe Opera has renovated their facilities, gaining funding for the project through generous donor contributions. Because Santa Fe Opera’s donor program is so robust, recognition signage can be found in many places throughout the site. Two Twelve developed an information and naming hierarchy that leveraged the gift levels as a way to create a sense of place. Combining this strategy with an elegant and timeless design allows the many signs blend seamlessly into the architecture and landscape, making them subtle but eye-catching.

Looking through the photos captured during the event, one can see a variety of different perspectives and creative angles, no doubt due to the creative talent of the photographers present. Check out some of these cool photos in the slideshow or using the links below.
