Things are really heating up in the experiential graphic design field job market, with many firms expanding it is a great time for designers to take the next step in their careers.
The recent Design Census results showed that designers find new positions through ads—it's the most popular way in fact, clocking in at 36%. In 2016,130 open design jobs were advertised by 97 employers on SEGD Jobs and this year those figures are poised to grow with the March 1, 2017 rollout of the new SEGD Jobs site. The improvements include a more user-friendly interface and navigation, expanded categories for both job seekers and employers, and increased opportunities for job seekers to highlight skills on their résumés. As always, résumés will be free to post for job seekers. Job posting and other services will continue to be discounted for SEGD members.
