Bin Huang joined Patricia and Phillip Frost Museum of Science in 2014 as a team member to develop the new museum. Prior to joining the museum, Bin Huang was an exhibition designer at Cinnabar California Inc. in Los Angeles, a company that provides design-build services for museums and other cultural institutions. He led the design of Wilshire Boulevard Temple exhibition and Traction Labs at Western Railway Museum.
Bin’s interest in visual arts goes beyond exhibition design. He is a self-taught graphic designer, front-end web developer and photographer. He graduated from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia with an MFA degree in Museum Exhibition Planning and Design. He earned his Bachelor of Engineer degree in Lighting Engineering from Fudan University in Shanghai, China. Born and raised in China, Bin Huang brings multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary perspectives to the museum team.
Bin Huang is currently working on new museum projects including River of Grass, Feathers to the Stars, Innovation Center, as well as building signage and way finding.
