Pentagram partner Michael Bierutwill be featured in an upcoming exhibition and lecture at the School of Visual Arts in New York.

The Masters Series: Michael Bierut will open Tuesday, October 6, and run through November 7 in the SVA Gallery, 601 West 26th St. The opening reception is 6 to 8 p.m. on October 6. On October 14, a dialogue between Bierut and Steven Heller is scheduled for 7 to 9 p.m at the SVA Theatre, 333 West 23rd St.

The exhibit will celebrate Bierut's work across a broad spectrum of clients and projects, and the reception will also celebrate his newly published book How to: Use Graphic Design to Sell Things, Explain Things, Make Things Look Better, Make People Laugh, Make People Cry, and (Every Once in a While) Change the World.
