Prior to joining Cinnabar in 2013, Basil Katz was a journalist for The New York Times and Reuters. Under his leadership, Cinnabar has become one of the nation’s premier museum exhibit fabrication companies, known for its expert team and  industry-leading craftsmanship. 

Basil and his team have partnered with museums across the country on projects large and small, including the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures, California Academy of Sciences, Discovery Science Foundation, and the Smithsonian Institution. He is also a member of the Board of Trustees of the Museum of Us.
