Arrowstreet (Somerville, Mass.) has been busy with several charter school projects in their home state. Massachusetts' first brand-new charter school facility, Kipp Academy Lynn, is located on a challenging hilltop site overlooking downtown Lynn; Arrowstreet's design includes a gathering/cafeteria space at the heart of the new school with a high ceiling and south-facing window wall to create an open and airy common space.

Construction is now complete for the renovation and addition to a new home for Excel Academy in East Boston, one of the top performing schools in the Commonwealth. Yhe historic building was renovated to provide state-of-the-art classroom teaching spaces and a new addition provides a gathering space for their Community Circle group-focused learning exercises.

In addition to renovating two existing structures, Arrowstreet created a contemporary glass-and-steel addition serving as a central arrival and school assembly area for Boston Collegiate Charter School in Dorchester.
