api(+) announces new store design for urban flagship store Lee's Market, called Lee's 4th West. The space is a small urban concept that is now open within a high-end apartment building in downtown Salt Lake City.
The 12,400-square-foot store offers the traditional groceries, chef-driven prepared foods, an online order pick up station, an extensive beer selection and a mezzanine for dining in.
The space features a fresh and simple palette of white, black, concrete flooring, brick, and wood accents with pops of green and orange to give the store a clean, modern, cheerful appeal.
api(+) created an eye-catching statement trellis in an effort to encourage guests to visit the second floor. The dynamic feature extends over the balcony and can be seen from the store entryway—designed to draw attention to the mezzanine seating area.
Lee's evolution to this new downtown Salt Lake City small-format store will help it stand out among competitors and attract and keep the modern shopper returning for the convenience, experience and same friendly service that the chain has established their reputation on since its inception in 1981.
