Ann is a proven and recognized leader at integrating exhibitions with technology, media, building architecture and infrastructure. Strategic and global in vision and international experience, she excels at coordination with key external partners, building coalitions and management of special projects.

As the Director of Exhibitions and Galleries at the MIT Museum, she leads the vision and content development for museum. Her focus is on the space as an experimental test bed for ideas, conversations and experiences that reflect the critical issues of culture and society. They probe the use of technology and investigate the questions underlying their use. Between 2015 and 2020 she has directed 20+ exhibitions, realigning and developing staff to meet strategic goals. In 2022, the new museum has opened with eight new galleries and a re-imagined museum experience with exhibitions on themes of identity, genetic futures, the reality of AI and MIT’s collections.

At Liberty Science Center, Ann led the exhibitions and graphics design teams, transforming the Museum’s environment and galleries during a capitol expansion (2007). 2012-2015 she led the Museum’s consulting services that planned and developed museums internationally.

Ann is a Noyce Leadership Fellow (now known as ILLC).
Graphic design and illustration projects launched her career and she is known to still practice these for sheer pleasure.
