Professor, York University/Sheridan College Program in Design
Angela Iarocci is a Professor and Coordinator at Sheridan College in the Faculty of Animation, Arts and Design with academic specializations in information design, EGD and sustainable design. Her research investigations are concentrated in experiential design, information visualization, mapping, installations and collaborative practice. She is also a member of the SEGD Academic Task Force.
Angela has a diverse design background that builds on her academic training in industrial design and architecture. She has professional experience in both the public and private sector, specializing in environmental graphic design, architecture, and communication design. She has been involved in numerous large-scale projects developing signage and wayfinding programs, exhibits, web sites and interpretive installations.
Angela Iarocci is a member of a Toronto-based collective, moimoi design, which focuses on social, cultural, and environmental issues for education and advocacy. They are the recipients of numerous grants, awards and commissions and their work has been exhibited and published in Canada and internationally.
