Amy Maddox provides story and visual creative direction to transform complex content into emotionally engaging media experiences. Amy and her Cortina Production team members collaborate with museum directors, curators, historians, educators, exhibition designers and hardware systems integrators to deliver compelling media exhibits that achieve our clients’ editorial and educational mission.
Amy’s 25+ years of producing and directing credits have been honored with numerous American Alliance of Museum MUSE awards, CINE, Telly, and New York Film Festival awards. Amy guides our Cortina Production story team members in developing media content that delivers accuracy in compelling and emotional ways, and – along with Joseph Cortina – leads staff training and development services to Cortina Production team members.
Amy Maddox became captivated with museums at age 10 when she visited the King Tut Exhibition in New Orleans. Given her love of history, she leads many of our history projects.
Before joining Cortina Productions in 1999, Amy Maddox was director of multimedia exhibits at the Newseum, The Interactive Museum of News. She earned a Bachelor of Arts, Visual Media, from the American University School of Communications. Like all Cortina Production principals, Amy provides presentation services to our clients’ public and private stakeholders.
