Amy Hood is a Project Manager at BHDP, an award-winning international architectural firm with offices in Cincinnati and Columbus, Ohio and Raleigh, N.C.
Amy Hood has served as Project Manager, Project Architect, Senior Intern and Intern on the BHDP workplace team since joining the firm in 2007. She also currently serves as BHDP’s sustainability leader. As Project Manager for the last three years, her focus has been on projects in South and Central America for a range of corporate clients. Amy's experience covers a broad range of project types including corporate housing, master planning, guidelines initiatives, manufacturing as well as environmental graphic design. As sustainability leader she is also involved in setting the firm’s approach to sustainability and the educational curriculum for the firm’s education program - Baxter University.
When collaborating with clients to form an envionmental graphic design strategy, Amy Hood works closely with the BHDP environmental graphic design team to ask the questions that guide clients to explore their identity on a deeper level, and then establish a visual connection between the client and the design of their space through the use of branding and place-making. We use storytelling, signage & wayfinding, timelines, heritage displays, interactive kiosks and artwork to connect the brand to the environment to reinforces the company’s mission and values.
