I am a student at the University of Cincinnati studying Communication Design and Fine Arts. I love learning about cross disciplinary design and have found myself excited about immersive spaces and environmental graphics.
As part of UC's co-op experience, I have had the opportunity to take part in multiple internships throughout my college career. In 2019, I interned at Corgan, a leading architecture firm in Dallas, TX, on the Environmental Branding team where I first began to learn about immersive design and how to create in a way that could help people better navigate and enjoy spaces. In 2020 and 2021, I have interned at Gallagher & Associates, an internationally recognized Museum Planning and Design Firm, and have learned even more about engaging spaces and about exhibit design. Throughout both of these experiences, I have learned more than I would have ever imagined, have been able to better understand the physical space, and have collaborated with people across the many disciplines that work together to bring spaces to life. I hope to continue my career in Environmental Graphic Design, and am very excited to see what other opportunities I will have to learn more and contribute to great projects.
In addition to design, I am part of the Fine Arts minor program at UC DAAP and am focusing primarily on photography. In one way or another, I am always looking for ways to be creative and hope that continued growth in other disciplines will enhance the ways that I design and collaborate. I care very strongly for the human experience and doing what I can to care for and empathize with others. I hope create work that will not only enhance how people experience life, but influence them in a personal and beneficial way.
While attending the University of Cincinnati, I am part of the Cincinnatus Scholarship, which is maintained through volunteer work. I have worked with various organizations in Cincinnati and have helped as a tutor for elementary students. I love service learning opportunities and finding ways to benefit my community.
