Alison Charney is passionate about the power of design in the built environment. She has a strong passion for a healthy and conscious lifestyle surrounded by color and meaning. Her undergraduate studies fulfilled her interest in human behavior and visual communication. She wanted to learn more and make more of a difference which led her to New York City.
Before attending graduate school at Parsons, The New School of Design for Graphic Design, Alison Charney crafted unique shopping experiences for visitors of the retail store Anthropologie and was the Interior Design Assistant to the President of Exclusive Design Group, LLC., in South Florida. During her study at Parsons, she interned with City Winery designing custom artist wine labels, party menus, invitations, posters and other print and digital collateral.
Alison Charney now works for the U.S Marketing team on SkinCeuticals creating signage for nationwide flagships and all print and digital collateral. It is Alison Charney's goal to combine her training in visual communication and apply it to the built environment in order to enhance the human experience and function within a specific space.
