Alisara Tareekes is a visual design professional specialized in calligraphy, lettering, and type design. Her calligraphy projects for themed environments are done with a strong regard for the history of writing which determines the appropriate choice of tools, substrates, and lettering styles that help tell the story accurately. The deliverables include props, signs, hand-written letters, signatures, fine arts, logos, and fonts.
Having had training in Industrial Design within the School of Architecture, Alisara Tareekes is able to visualize and create three dimensional graphics in real world environments such as exhibitions and theme parks. Alisara Tareekes has a strong knowledge of materials, construction, and installation. Her wide range of skills and experience also allows her to apply visual designs to various applications from print collateral to web development and environmental graphic design.
Alisara Tareekes is a permanent resident of the United States and has full legal status to work in the U.S. and Thailand.
Alisara has been a volunteer for both the AIGA and the Calligraphy Society of Southern California and a Guest Lecturer at UCLA and the University of Southern California.
She completed her Bachelor of Industrial Design at Chulalongkorn University in Thailand graduating with First-class Honors. She also completed a Certificate in Design Communication Art at UCLA Extension graduating with distinction.
