Alexis Blackwell-Brown is currently a Fabrication Designer with Walt Disney Imagineering in Orlando, Florida. Alexis has been with the Walt Disney Company for approximately twelve years.

Alexis Blackwell-Brown began her career with Disney as a Professional Architecture Intern. As an intern she worked under the direction of Licensed Architects to prepare, check, and coordinate architectural construction documents for schematic design, design development, and bid and construction. In this position Alexis Blackwell-Brown also assisted in the design process of renovation and rehabilitation of facilities throughout the parks and resorts, which included surveying existing conditions for accessibility and physical condition issues. As an intern Alexis also provided photo documentation and 3D drawings which she incorporated into presentations and documents.

After completing her internship Alexis worked for the Walt Disney Company as a Associate Facilities Designer for 7 years. Alexis then moved into her current position of Fabrication Designer and has been in this position for three years.

Alexis Blackwell-Brown attended Lawrence Technological University from 2005 to 2015. In 2013 she received her Bachelor of Science in Architecture & Design, during this program she studied general Architecture as well as Interior Architecture. In 2015 Alexis Blackwell-Brown received her Master of Architecture.
