Adrien Menard is a French graphic and type designer based in Brooklyn. In his 4-year time span at WSDIA he has created graphic identities, books and publications, exhibition design, typefaces, signage, art direction and websites for cultural organizations, businesses and individuals. Adrien Menard brings a particular editorial sense to all projects he gets his hands on, always with a true thoughtfulness and acute attention to detail. His notable projects for WSDIA are a full signage system for Nike’s 150,000 sq.ft. headquarters in NY and numerous graphic projects for the University of Pennsylvania’s PennDesign Dept. of Architecture. Recent work includes identity and exhibition graphics for The Museum of the City of New York’s City Game: Basketball in New York. His overall approach to the work is in the belief that consistency and repetition lead to identification. Adrien studied at the ECV Paris and at the KABK. He holds a Masters in Art Direction with specification in typography, and a particular focus on the relationship between Art and Design.
