Adam Sweet is a Senior Designer for MC2 focusing on environmental and experience design across multiple platforms. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Design with a Minor in Marketing from California State University Long Beach. Raised in the foothills of Northern California with two older sisters and parents who specialize in stained and etched glass artwork, his upbringing was filled with artistic influence and engineering ingenuity. Adam got into design with the dream of becoming a car designer, but in school discovered the well-rounded nature of product and exhibit design. His focus encompasses a broad range of media and channels including fine art pen and ink, cut and sew fabric, digital graphic design, typography, 3D modeling, and experiential design.
Adam Sweet’s professional background includes positions at George P. Johnson, Rock & Republic, Catalyst Strategic Design, EWI Worldwide, and now MC2 in San Francisco. He’s also worked numerous years in-between corporate jobs as a freelance designer for his Human Being Inspired passion project where he fabricates graphic artwork on products, sews accessories and clothing, and works with individuals and corporations as a consultant on 3D and 2D projects.
Adam Sweet enjoys any conversation related to design, and how the art & design community can change our lives on an every day basis by considering all levels of human interaction. He also gives long, meaningful, heart-to-heart hugs with old friends, new friends, and perfect strangers.
