Keep Austin Weird

Only a UT student would use a sandblaster to peel an apple. And did you know that The Texas Chainsaw Massacre was filmed around Austin? It’s where a Chewie is a praline, but Chuy’s is a restaurant whose motto is “Scream till your daddy stops here.” Suffice it to say that Austin’s got nothin’ on SEGD. Come to the conference and prove it.

Ommmm…
Take the path of least resistance and put your resume on the SEGD Job Bank. You never know who might be looking for someone just like you. (Pssst! Employers! Guess where all the resumes are?)

Member News
A member once sent in an announcement that he hadn’t been fired from any work for over a year. So what’s new in your office? Send in the good, the bad, and the ugly.

Barroom Banter
This character walks into a bar. The bartender says, "We don't serve your type in here!" (It’s funny because it works on so many levels.)

Who Knew?
SEGD found an insurance broker who took the time to explain that, while we love trees and wish them no harm, that’s not the only “environment” we’re talking about in this field. Click here to email Eric Fucci about saving on your professional liability insurance.
